MEET COACH
NATALIE GLEADALL

As a PGA of Canada "Class A" Professional, my coaching philosophy is rooted in a deep passion for the game of golf and a commitment to helping players of all ages and abilities enjoy the sport and achieve their goals. I currently teach at Golfplay, Market Sports and Badlands offering private lessons for adults and juniors, group lessons, on course playing lessons and corporate team building opportunities.    

 

Before transitioning to coaching, I was fortunate to have a successful career as an accomplished golfer. I was a member of the University of Mississippi Women’s Golf Team, competed on the Epson Tour, and had multiple starts on the LPGA Tour. These experiences shaped my understanding of the game and gave me invaluable insights into the technical and mental aspects of golf.

In 2020, I began my coaching career as the Junior Development Coach at The Ontario Golf Academy at Whistle Bear Golf Club. I was responsible for all grassroots junior programs. I founded a girls' team to provide a fun, inclusive environment for young women to discover and enjoy the game of golf. Alongside my work with juniors, I coached private lessons and women's clinics. My dedication to junior and women's golf led to being named the 2021 PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the Year.

My role at The Ontario Golf Academy helped me to gain extensive experience in tailoring instruction to meet the needs of every individual. From 2022 to 2023, I served as Lead Instructor at London Hunt and Country Club, ranked 16th in the SCOREgolf Top 100 Courses in Canada. During this time, I created a Women's Coaching Catalogue, helping to foster a strong community of women eager to learn and improve their game. In the fall of 2022, I became the Director of Instruction at Golfplay, one of the largest indoor golf facilities in Canada. At Golfplay, I offer private lessons, group lessons, and corporate clinics, while also partnering with First Tee Ontario to help break down barriers to golf for youth in our community. ​In 2024, I had the privilege of coaching at Westmount Golf and Country Club, ranked 11th in the SCOREgolf Top 100  Courses in Canada, as a Teaching Professional. Over the years, I’ve had the honour of coaching players ranging in age from 4 to 88, from beginners to scratch golfers and everything in between. I take pride in building relationships with my students where they feel supported and encouraged.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my golf career was working as the Coordinator for Golf Fore Life, a dementia-friendly golf program piloted by the City of Kitchener. This life-changing initiative gave participants the chance to engage with and enjoy a game they love, providing a sense of connection and joy. It was through this program that I truly realized the profound impact golf has had on my life—and how deeply I value sharing that knowledge and those experiences with my students. It is a dream come true to be able to give back to the game that has given me so much!
